The online Slooh Space Camera will host a webcast Friday (Oct. 18) featuring live views of the moon as it dips into the Earth's outer shadow. This penumbral eclipse will be visible to people across a large swath of the world.
Slooh's webcast will begin at 5:45 p.m. EDT (2145 GMT) and will run for the entirety of the eclipse. The space camera's broadcast team will join the live webcast at 7:30 p.m. EDT (2330 GMT) to provide expert commentary during the peak of the eclipse, set for 7:50 p.m. EDT (2360 GMT).
